Here is the $64 Billion Dollar Question?
Will the Climate in Canada look any different in 10-20 years after the Liberals impose their Climate Emission Mandates, then it has for the last 10-20 years?
China and India are continuing to build Coal Fired Power plants for Low Energy Costs, with no plans to reduce their carbon foot print in the near term.
We are being Conned by the Elites who want to take away our Freedom and make us Dependent on their Whims. How about 400 private jets in Glasgow at COP26, Biden with 4 – 747’s, 85 vehicles to see the Pope, and Canada with an entourage of over 300 delegates. Are they serious about Global Warming?
This is about Ego’s, Power and Control, Restricting Freedom, not about Global Warming.
CO2 is about 400 PPM (parts per million) in the air. When you breath out from behind a mask, you are exhaling significantly more CO2, maybe 30,000 PPM, as the lungs absorb the oxygen, and expel CO2. (Normal air is Nitrogen 78%, Oxygen 21% and Carbon Dioxide 0.03%, or 400ppm.)
Canadian Woodland, Grass and Wetlands thrive on CO2 and guess what, Wood is mostly Carbon.
So, in perspective CO2 is absorbed by Trees, Oceans, and the Earth, and NASA says the earth is getting greener. It is absorbing any extra CO2.
Wind and Solar do not cut it. They are subsidized by tax payers, and are not reliable, the wind does not always blow and the sun does not always shine. Typically, they are backed by Gas Fired Power Plants. California suffers Rolling Electricity Blackouts, while Encouraging Electric Vehicle Sales!!!!!
The Trudeau Government is Inflicting a lot of Pain on Canada for No Good Reason!!
Trudeau’s Climate Mandates will affect GDP Negatively.
In response to the question asked earlier, If Canada’s GDP grew by 5% annually, it would equate to the $64 Billion U.S. $64 Billion is a lot of Payrolls!!
However, GDP/Capita in 2013 was $52,635 U.S and in 2020 GDP/ Capita was down to $43,258. Covid played a part, but shutting in Resources and not supporting Manufacturing will continue to hurt our Growth Potential.
The Number of Federal Government Employees in 2014 was 257,138 and in 2020, there were 300,450. So obviously, one cannot count on the Government Employees to grow GDP, as GDP fell, while the number of Government Employees under Trudeau grew by 17%!!.
Only the Business Sector and Business Investment creates Wealth and Prosperity.
We have a lot of catching up to do, as Actual GDP is less than it was in 2019, and our standard of living has fallen.
Canada’s share of Global GDP shrank steadily from 2.5% in 1978 to 1.9 % in 2020. That amounts to more than $500 Billion Dollars of lost opportunity. That’s a lot of lost Jobs, Wealth Creation and Market Share.
In this Great Big Country, with loads of Natural Resources, we are Not Performing to our Potential, because of Regulations, Government Bureaucracy, and Poor Leadership.
We don’t pay Material, we pay People!! We may buy oil, but we pay people!!
The Continued Printing of Money, holding Interest Rates Down, will continue to create Inflation until, at some point, Interest Rates are forced to go up big time.
Inflation has already affected the Price of Commodities which will gradually flow through the economy, year over year, Crude oil 66%, Canola 66%, Steel 200% Aluminum 36%, Copper 26%, Gas 51%, Natural Gas 88% Plastics 26%, Housing prices 15%. Who knows to what extent?
The increase in Commodity prices will soon start to filter through the supply chains at the manufacturing levels. How can we compete with China and India who burn coal to generate cheap electricity? We will continue to lose our manufacturing.
Wages will also continue to rise but not keep pace with the cost of living. Canadians Standard of Living is in Decline.
Inflation will continue to increase the Cost of Gas and Home Heating Supplies, specifically hurting people living on fixed incomes as well as those with mortgages, and debt.
And then just wait till Interest Rates Jump to Curb Inflation.
Remember in the ‘80’s we had Wage and Price Controls and Bond rates of 19.5%. under Pierre Trudeau. Is Justin Trudeau creating the same scenario? That Part of History was Painful for those who remember!!
Pierre Trudeau—1969- 1984 --- 2021 looks like More spending driving Inflation. Also Printed Canadian Money Supply Grew 12.8% in one year!! This on top of the Deficit and Debt.
Meanwhile we are Creating Division in Canada both East and West, Locking in Western Oil, while allowing Hydro expansion in Quebec, making the Equalization Payments even more hypocritical, Divisive and unfair.
We are Locking in Canadian Natural Gas and Oil, which could have been used to Reduce the Carbon Footprint in other countries, like China and India while increasing Canadian GDP and improving our Balance of Trade. Remember Bills C-48 and Bill C-69 which restrict investment in Western Oil and Gas Development.
And he killed the Keystone Pipeline Project!!!
We reject the possibility of a West/ East Pipeline, while continuing to purchase $17 Billion of Imported Oil to Eastern Canada.
Parliament has not been in session for 153 days, when we have Covid to contend with, low GDP Growth and a Federal Debt of $1.2 Trillion, plus incredible Provincial Debts and every Government still running Deficits.
Trudeau wants to put a Cap on Expansion. If there is no growth, it is impossible to pay down Debt.
Trudeau wants Control and a Socialist Government. I have no idea why he wants Canada to become like Venezuela with 2000% inflation, where business is moving to Bitcoin for Currency Stability.
Canada Contributes very Little to any Air Pollution, less then 1.5% of the World’s Emissions, and we have used technology to remove particulates from the air, and CO2 works just fine in keeping us Green.
China and India are not serious about reducing their particulate emissions from their Coal Fired Power Plants, which they continue to build.
Even B.C Exports 30 million Tonnes of Coal, to China and India, Hypocrites, when they slow walk the Coastal GasLink Pipeline, LNG line, from Alberta.
More fear mongering is used in describing Methane as harmful, when in fact it is made up of the same Chemical Components as Natural Gas. (CH4 one part Carbon, 4 parts Hydrogen).
Patrick Moore, a Founder of Green Peace, resigned as he later he realized, Green Peace was all about raising funds from elites to afford their actions. (Suzuki’s has a net worth of $25 million and gets paid $31,000 per speaking engagement, while suggesting, Blow up the Pipelines).
The same can be said for many University Scientists. It is all about the Grants and Funding for their Pet Projects.

Until the Canadian Government and people realize we are being penalized for Climate Change, when Man-Kind has little to do with it. A Claim that is not Factual, and is Not Truly Supported in Reality.
We are not optimizing our Economy, but rather will continue to Decline and Worse with more Government Control, and Share of our Economy, we will be headed for Socialism, as we struggle to pay down Debt.
Remember, the Diameter of the Sun is 109 times that of the earth and just might have an affect on our climate.
We have also discovered the earth has continuous volcanic eruptions that are just being discovered, which quite possibly affect climate.
We are being Scammed by Climate Organizations where most of the Donated Money will be Siphoned Off by the Bureaucracy.
Further, there is a Significant Portion of the World Population that is being Cheated of the Right to use Fossil Fuel for Energy, they Desperately need to Improve Their Standard of Living.
Canadians need to Understand the Issues, Not accept the Media Story as Truth, and Stand up for their Children and Grand Children’s Future!!!
